How the Health Index drives this number
NexTrafo scores every monitored transformer with a continuous Health Index (0–100), built from electrical, thermal, oil, and — at Intelligence levels — dissolved-gas data. A failure is rarely instant: the health score typically drifts downward for weeks or months before a fault trips. The risk-reduction estimate above represents how much of that drift NexTrafo can catch and act on before it becomes an unplanned outage — deeper diagnostic levels catch the drift earlier, which is why higher packages default to a higher estimate.
